Malcolm Edwards was born in London, England, in 1950. He received a BSc. degree in electronics from the University of Wales Institute of Science andTechnology. Since September 2000 he has been Technical Manager for AWR based in the UK engaged in technical support, product development and training. Before joining AWR, Malcolm worked as a principal engineer at IFR Ltd, Stevenage, England. During this period Malcolm developed ultra wide band harmonic mixers, low distortion reflection mixers and sampling gates for spectrum analyser applications. Previous work experience has ranged across a number of technologies including medium power Gunn oscillators for portable radar applications, satellite SSPA development for Inmarsat III, GaAs MMIC Gilbert Cell mixers, planar filters, medium power hybrid amplifiers and hybrid mixers.
