Getting to the Kulturpalast:

By Public Transportation

Starting at the main station of Dresden (“Hauptbahnhof”), please take tram number 3 or 7 to get to the “Pirnaischen Platz”. You can also take bus route 11 and get off “Postplatz”. The Kulturpalast is situated amid the historical city centre; on the north side of “Altmarkt”.

On foot

Starting at the main station please walk along the “Prager Street” and pass “Altmarkt”. It takes you approximately 12 minutes to get to the “Kulturpalast”.

By car

Airport Dresden: 9 km
Starting at the airport Dresden you drive along “Flughafenstrasse” and reach B97 (Karl-Marx-Strasse). Please stay on this road for about 1,5 km. In Klotzsche you make a left turn into “Koenigsbruecker
Landstrasse”. Driving along B97 you will reach Dresden and get to “Albertplatz”after approximately 5 km.
Cross “Albertplatz” straight ahead toward Carolaplatz (B170/E55).
Drive across “Carolabruecke”(Carola Bridge). On the right hand side you will see the historical Old Town of Dresden.
Use the right lane and turn right at “Pirnaischer Platz” after 300 m. Continue along “Wilsdruffer Strasse”
After 400 m you will see the “Kulturpalast” on the right hand side. Make a right turn into“Galeriestrasse”.

Exit Dresden-Neustadt: 6 km
You turn off the expressway (A4) at exit “Dresden Neustadt”. You drive along “Lommatzscher Straße” into town. After 800 m make a right turn at the traffi c light. Stay at “Leipziger Strasse” for about 3,5 km. You will pass through a railway bridge and drive along “Robert-Blum-Straße”.
Driving straight forward, you are getting to “Grosse Meissner Strasse” (B170/E55).
After 500 m you make a right turn to “Augustusbruecke”(Augustus Bridge) and cross the Elbe. At the end of the bridge stay slightly left and follow “Sophienstrasse” (on the left hand side you can see the “Semperoper”). After 200 m you make a turn to the left into “Kleine Bruedergasse” and reach the “Kulturpalast” after 100 m (right side).
