The proposal is for singular persons/teams of scientific universities, research establishments and industry. The submitted work for the award is supposed to constitute an important contribution for the further development of information technology. Application-oriented submissions of all special fields will be particularly respected.
Applications and proposals should be explained in detail and contain relevant documents such as publications and patents. Authors are asked to fill out and submit the submission template, including the title, name and scientific background of all authors and paper description (approx. 10 pages) until the Paper Collection Party on June 04, 2008. A one-page abstract has to be submitted in advance before May 31, 2008.
A price-commitee decides on basis of the following evaluation criteria
What is new? What is the originality of the work?
Which facts improve the state of the art?
Is the work practicable?
Which economic relevance results from the work?
