Harald Pretl was born in Linz, Austria, in 1972. He received the Dipl.-Ing. degree (with honors) in electronics and telecommunications engineering from the University of Technology in Graz and his Dr techn. degree from the University of Linz, Austria. He spent a year for the civil service during 1998. His main research interest lies in the field of RFIC design. In October 2000 he joined Danube Integrated Circuit Engineering (DICE), where he is currently involved in the design of single-chip receivers for UMTS as a senior design engineer. Dr. Pretl has authored and co-authored numerous publications in the field of wireless systems and circuit design. |
