Wolfram Eurskens was born in Munich, Germany, in 1968. He received the Dipl.-Phys. (Univ.) degree from the Ludwigs-Maximilians-University Munich, Germany, in 1995 and his Dr. techn. degree from the University of Linz, Austria, in 2001.

He joined the Corporate Research and Development department of Siemens AG, Munich, Germany, in 1995 for his Ph.D. work. His thesis treated passive components integrated into LTCC (Low Temperature Cofired Ceramics). After a one year's employment at Siemens Matsushita (now EPCOS AG), he joined Infineon Technologies AG in 1999.

His current tasks are the electrical characterization of packages including the related methodology as well as consulting support during package selection and development.
